NUPIc audited to meet your safety-related needs
TAW® is the Premier Provider for Nuclear Safety-Related Motors, Repairs, and Services. Our Tampa Service Center has been 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR Part 21 compliant since October 15, 2010. Our Quality Management System has been audited by the best nuclear operators in the world (Multiple NUPIC audits as well as a successful DOE audit). Our objective is to be the best at what we do and to be there for our customers when they need us.
Vertical Integration: One of the unique and outstanding things about TAW® is that we keep internal control of more repair processes than the majority of our competitors. We have our own in-house form coil manufacturing facility, we perform all of our nuclear motor restacks of stators and rotors in-house, and we have arguably the largest machine shop of any motor repair facility in the country. This enables us to keep superior Quality Control of our motor repairs.
Obsolete motor construction: TAW® has partnerships with some Original Equipment Manufacturers to build that “one-off spare” motor that matches your existing motor “like for like.” We build it from the original manufactures drawings under license from the OEM.
Third-Party Decontamination: TAW® can decontaminate equipment through approved facilities, for free-release and repair. TAW® can arrange for shipment of contaminated equipment to and from our facility, and back to you.
Complete Reporting Package: TAW® maintains a robust quality assurance program with comprehensive documentation reporting. All of TAW’s forms are reviewed, approved, and traceable back to our Quality Assurance Manual. Inspection and Repair Reports are made available to the customer for review and approval.
